New students: Holy, Lisa, Wina and Sevio

The year 2021 was the second year in which the Heliconia Scholarship Foundation had to select new candidates for the Heliconia Scholarship online, due to the Covid-19 pandemic. When recruiting the new students, we first did a document selection, by checking the high school grades from ten candidates. Unfortunately, we only chose seven candidates for the follow-up interviews. Together with the graduates Susanah, Veronica, Sherly, Sefta, Susi, and Vana, cooperation partner Naomi held online interviews with the candidates on March 6th-7th. After interviewing the candidates, Naomi and all graduates had a discussion to select the students who are eligible for the Heliconia Scholarship. We agreed to choose four students: Holy, Lisa, Wina and Sevio!

Congratulations dear Holy, Lisa, Wina and Sevio!

Sevio grew up in Vincentius Putra shelter. Wina, Holy, and Lisa grew up at the Hati Suci shelter. They are officially registered to university on June 15th, 2021. Sevio will study Accountancy at Tarumanagara University, Wina applied for Nursing at STIK Sint Carolus, Holy chose the major Chemistry at Pertamina University and Lisa will studys Communication at Tarumanagara University in Jakarta. All new students graduated from high school with excellent grades and are very ambitious to continue studying at university. Click on their profiles to read more about them!
