For the academic year 2020-2021, the Heliconia Scholarship Foundation selected three new students. Welcome Lenny, Nethania, and Paska! All grew up in the Hati Suci shelter in Jakarta. Lenny is now enrolled in the Law major at Tarumanagara University, Nethania studies Accountancy at Trisakti University and Paska studies Guidance & Counseling at Atmajaya University in Jakarta. All new students graduated from high school with excellent grades and are very motivated to continue studying in tertiary education. Click on their profiles to read more about them!
We are glad that we are able to welcome the new students, despite the Covid 19 pandemic. Cooperation partner Naomi wasn’t able to visit the shelters, but instead did all the selection interviews online. We are very glad that our graduates Susan, Veronica, Sherly, and Sefta all helped in this, by joining in the interviews online and working together as one team.
We are looking forward to Heliconia becoming a true family for all students and graduates so that they can care for each other and give support when necessary.
