New students: Salsa and Mikhael

We are very happy to welcome two new students into our Heliconia Community for the academic year 2022-2023: Salsa and Mikhael!

Salsa is from the Hati Suci shelter. She enjoys setting clear goals, taking the lead and speaking in public, and therefor chose to study Communication at the London School of Public Relations. She is detemined to make the best of her studies and make her grandmother proud of her.

Mikhael lives in Vincentius Putra shelter and is equally motivated to study at university. He’s enrolled in the Informatics major at the Kalbis Institute and aspires to eventually move back to his hometown and help improve the technological facilities in the area where his family still lives.

Graduates Susanah, Sherly, Veronica, Sefta and Susi assisted our Head of Student Affairs Naomi with the selection of new students this year. By working together as one team, they ensure that the Heliconia Scholarship is awarded to youngsters who have the motivation and skills to complete a university education. They also provide guidance and support throughout the entire study period of our students.

We are very proud to welcome Salsa and Mikhael into our Heliconia Community and wish them all the best in their studies!
