Students Sherly and Veronica graduated in September 2016! We are very proud of them!
Veronica graduated for Nutritional Science at the Public Health faculty of Universitas Indonesia. For her thesis, she researched the relationship between food consumption and health in young children. She was admired by the examination committee for her data selection methods and is also one of the first students in Indonesia to do research on this specific subject. She would like to start her own nutrition diet centre in the future, to provide guidance to people who experience problems in their relationship to food and health. She is now looking forward to gaining work experience, while at the same time exploring the possibilities for following a master's degree within the same field of study. She hopes to continue studying one day.
Sherly is now a Psychology graduate, with a degree from Universitas Tarumanagara. For her thesis she researched the psychological well-being of adults with albinism. Finding respondents who wanted to participate in her study turned out to be a challenge, so Sherly can be extra proud of her final end results. Due to family circumstances, Sherly had to postpone her graduation ceremony until May 2017. Her family and our cooperation partner Mili Chana were very happy to attend the ceremony and finally congratulate her with her wonderful achievements.
